The aim of the academy is to develop additional leadership skills and refine those already possessed. EMERGE ACADEMY is committed to the development of individuals into the disciples and leaders that God has called them to be. It has been running for 5 years and has a proven track record.

You’ve probably noticed this too. Unlike most birds, eagles don’t fly in flocks. They don’t simply fit in and they don’t conform to the activities of their own kind. You cannot find them in huge clusters. They are flying alone, ahead of and higher than the other birds.
WHAT IS LEADERSHIP?
John Maxwell, a leadership expert and author, says this about leadership. ‘Leadership is influence’ he also states a very important truth that we need to recognise that ‘Everything rises and falls on leadership.’ At International City Church we believe that God is so passionate about leadership that we have declared in our vision statement that we are called ‘to raise up a generation of leaders.’ We believe that leadership is vital in every area of life and over the years ICC has trained and released dozens of people into leadership roles.If we are going to see God build influential and world impacting churches then we have to be intentional about releasing hundreds of men and women into leadership. We are passionate and committed at ICC to developing people for their ministry and leadership function within the church.
