WHY EMERGE?

There are many different training and discipleship courses that people can choose to take part in across the UK and the world, so why do Emerge? At International City Church we understand that every person is different. We recognise that as part of God’s incredible design we each have different giftings, callings and ministries given to us to outwork. This is why at Emerge we don’t just get people doing one or two things in the life of the church, but expose our academy students to every area of church life. This way people can get to see what they feel they are good at and also what they are not so good at, without any pressures or expectations. At Emerge we commit to exposing you to every facet of church life while teaching you and training you in The Word of God. For less than the price of many other academies we believe this is not only great value, but great for the Kingdom of God and for you as an individual.

These costs can be paid incrementally throughout the year after an initial deposit fee of £100 (Full Time) or £75 (Part Time). All fees must be paid in full by May 2012,

Accommodation is available for students at an extra cost.

Overseas Mission

Whilst on Emerge you will have the great opportunity to serve on one of our overseas missions, with our Be the Solution team. At ICC we have links with churches and leaders in the Czech Republic, Mozambique and South Africa, and during your year on Emerge you will be able to get out, get your hands dirty and go on mission serving local communities across the globe.

Pastoral Care

It is our desire whilst you are completing your year of Emerge to have the support of our pastoral staff. At ICC we totally believe in the benefit of accountability. Therefore an opportunity is provided for each student to have a safe and consistent mentoring environment with a member of our pastoral staff. They will be assigned to you and will be available, on a regular basis, to advise, counsel, encourage, challenge and champion you in your pursuit of knowing God and serving the church.
